THE START OF A LEGACY
-
Stemming from the heartbreak of not getting a last year together we have been seeking a way to celebrate and commemorate this graduating class in a way that’s different. A way that feels special, unique, and united.
-
As a result, we have decided to begin a LEGACY wall in IWC starting with the 2021 graduating class. Each graduating class, starting now, will receive the opportunity to place a plaque on the wall with a symbolic mural representative of their year.
-
This wall is located on the right side of the IWC lobby. We will be nailing our plaque to the wall this spring as the start of a sustainable standard. We will release our design plan in the next few weeks - but we envision it to incorporate locations, items and photos meaningful to all of you. Additionally, we will include the QR code for the one line story (in which we just watched) on the plaque so that all years can be reminded of the faces behind the class of 2021.
-
We hope that this allows you to leave a part of yourself in IWC despite not being able to physically say goodbye. We hope that this keeps you connected to MacKin forever. We hope that this makes future years identify with the family in which they have the honour of being a part of. We hope that this ties all graduating years of mackin together, as a piece of a puzzle in something bigger.
